Questions for Me

Hello Kim, I’ve managed to catch up with your last 2 episodes, we’ve had some quite heavy rain in Spain which has lead to flooding and plenty of power cuts. 

Your throwback sweater is striking and your colourwork looks so neat. Do you change needle sizes to get matching gauge between the colourwork and plain knitting? The reason I ask is that I recently frogged an almost complete sweater because I couldn’t get the gauge to match and eventually I gave up trying! I would be interested to hear from an experienced colourwork knitter.
