I have been blessed to test knitting patterns for a friend that owns SWTC Yarn Company. The latest project that I made was the Eagle Twist Shawl from Grandeur and Vespera yarn. I thought it turned out lovely and look forward to trying other combinations in the future.

Carder is a family member of a dear friend of mine. He was born with many physical difficulties, so when they asked me if I could create socks that would shape around his foot just right, and that would stay up, I quickly said yes. I have prayed for this little boy many times over the past couple of years and I know that God has answered each of these prayers, but it is still nice to make these for him and include a prayer in every stitch.

His Wounded Heart
His wounded heart by R.L. Syme was given to me by the author and bookfun.org in exchange for my honest review.
In this book, Sean Raleigh is wheelchair-bound after a smokejumping accident. Along with the wheelchair, Sean has acquired anger and has shut himself off from those who try to help him. Enter Jaclyn Dalton, who works with sports injuries and is not interested in a relationship.
This is a well-written book which easily keeps the reader's attention. There are various level to the book also with well-developed characters. Syme has done a great job with this book and I look forward to reading more of her work

I found this poem and I love it.
Have you ever seen a sunrise
That was streaked with pink and gold
It’s called an Angel Sunrise
Is the story that I’m told
They streak the sky with color
To lift our spirits high
They paint with lovely colors
As though the clouds they fly
These Angels have a special task
They brighten up our day
Our skies they color lovely
To begin a golden day
The next time that you see a sky
That’s gold and pink and bright
Look carefully and you might see
The angel that’s in flight
