Just when I was getting confident in what I was doing I ended up posting last week's video podcast twice - back-to-back. Some would say can't get too much of a great thing while others might say ugh. I hope more said the first thing.
Anyway, here I am at episode five. I am so thankful for those of you who are returning viewers of this podcast and I give you guys my love. I also welcome those who are checking me out for the first time. Please check out my Ravelry Page and introduce yourselves. I would love to have some giveaways and prizes which would be based off of my introduction thread. Don't be afraid of being the first to introduce yourself. I am so happy to have all of you who have taken the time to watch.
Here are my show notes:
On the Needles –
~re-su katabira - Knit Kimono too - Bernat Cotton-ish in seersucker colorway - size US 9/5.5mm 24" circular and US 7/4.5mm circular for the edging.
~ plain toe-up socks on size US 1/2.25mm and Mary Maxim Aloe Sock Yarn in Sahara
~child's chemo cap - US 6/4.5mm KnitPicks Chroma Worsted Weight - Pegasus colorway
Finished Projects –
~One Love Shawl by Susan B. Anderson. I am making it out of the sock blank I received from Gale Art as part of her sock blank club. I love how it is turning out so far. This is worked on US size 6/4mm, 32-inch circular needles.
~Top down sweater – my own design – one sleeve done and one to go and then I will be finished. I am working it out of KnitPicks Stroll fingering in rainforest heather and on size US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles. As soon as it is pattern tested I will post it on Ravelry.
~ I am also designing a child’s chemo hat out of worsted weight yarn and I am looking for some pattern testers for this pattern.
~ Finally, I am working on a pair of socks out of fingering weight yarn and I am looking for pattern testers for this also.
Things That Have Me Excited
